We are a full service salon, meaning we do everything your wiggle-butt needs to feel fresh! We provide personalized care for your critters by taking the time to assess each dog’s unique needs and characteristics. This ensures that we choose the absolute best haircut that suits their personality, breed, and lifestyle. With a focus on comfort and style, we aim to enhance your dog’s natural beauty while keeping them happy and relaxed throughout the grooming process.
Here at The Howling Hounds, we are home based and prioritize a one-on-one approach with every dog, ensuring they receive the individual attention they deserve. We have created a professional fear-free and cage-free environment where your fur ball can feel safe and calm during their spaw-day. We strive to engage with the dogs in a gentle and positive manner, helping them build confidence while enjoying the grooming process. Our goal is to make each visit a pleasant experience that leaves your pup looking and feeling their best!

Full Groom
+A thorough bath with high-quality shampoos and conditioners
+ Being dried fully by hand, including gentle drying around the face and head
+ Brushing and combing to remove any loose coat and tangles*
+ A full all-over haircut, including shaping the legs, head, feet and tail with clippers and scissors as suited
+ Nail trim, nail file, and paw balm
+ Photo shoot and seasonal bandana
*All grooms above include brushing out tangles only to a certain extent. Any knots that cannot be brushed out will be thinned or shaved as required. See terms & conditions for more about knots and mats.

Because every dog varies in breed, age, size, coat type, etc. we cannot give an exact price until the appointment is complete. We can, however, give you a rough estimate so you know about how much money to tell your dog to pay me.
Training
Here at The Howling Hounds we understand that your dog is an extension of you, so they should always be looking AND feeling good. Our primary focus is on calm, cooperative grooming, for the lifetime of your dog. We will always prioritize your dogs emotional and physical well-being over anything else.
If a dog is showing signs of distress or anxiety, we will switch from the standard grooming session into training and grooming session. Everyone has some coping skills that no longer serve them, dogs and people alike. Sometimes we just gotta do a little unlearning.
We will not force a dog or push them past their breaking point, and this may mean your groom is not fully completed this time. In the event that I’m unable to complete the full groom on the day of the appointment, we will find a time for you to come back for a touch up when your dog has decompressed, at no extra charge.
We will also brainstorm an ongoing plan for your dog and we will work together with regular training and conditioning so that your dog can learn to love the process again and we have a lifetime of happy grooms. We are honored to be part of your pups care team, and we want to help in every way possible.
The Puppy Package
The Puppy Package offers a flat-rate deal for three grooming appointments every 3-4 weeks, designed specifically for puppies.
Puppies, much like toddlers, can be curious and fidgety during their first grooming experiences. We approach each session with care and positive reinforcement, ensuring we move at a pace that keeps your pup comfortable. Our goal is to familiarize them with the grooming process, making it a normal part of their routine.
During the first appointment, we focus on the face, feet, and sanitary areas without cutting any length. Each session begins with greetings and exploration of the space before moving to the grooming table, where your puppy will gradually experience different aspects of grooming.
With each visit, we build on previous sessions, starting off with bathing and drying techniques and progressing to a full groom. Regular appointments help your puppy learn about grooming while fostering confidence and independence—essential traits for their lifelong well-being.
